Project 1: PhotoShop Image

Purpose: Familiarize yourself with PhotoShop and digital imaging.

Task: Create one fine, finished digital image using PhotoShop. You may use digital photos, scanned images, or graphics created in other imaging programs, but you must use PhotoShop to create some kind of enhancement or otherwise polish your images. You are expected to make good use of the digital medium.

Requirements:

800x600 pixel image
150 DPI resolution

Two files

flattened JPG format
uncompressed PSD format

Turn these in following the format outlined in the Format for Handing in Material.

Criteria: You will be graded on concept, composition, and execution. I always look for creativity, a good concept behind your work, and at least a reasonably well-done product, although I understand that technical skills sometimes take longer than we have to really hone.
