This is a lo-tek,
snail-mail shopping zone. In case you don't recall how that works,
what you do is write a check or stuff some cash in an envelope, and mail it to me:
Brian Clark | 305 E. 5th St. | Moscow, ID 83843
You'll need a tongue and a
postage stamp to complete this operation.
Be sure to tell me what
you're ordering, and to include your shipping address.
I then carefully package your order, include some secret free stuff, and mail it back to
you post haste.

Scratch by Nikki Dillon
The coolest thing I have right now is the latest (and last!) chapbook from
Permeable Press: Scratch by Nikki Dillon. This is a 54-page collection of four
short stories. Nikki writes beautifully ironic tales about transcending dysfunction--and
great blow jobs! The chapbook itself is of stunning design, featuring a sassy brick-red
cover, and a color-copied vellum flyleaf. I only produced 200 copies of Scratch.
You can get a signed copy for US$8*.
Splitting by Brian Charles Clark
OK, my novel is pretty cool, too. But unless you want me to sign you a copy for
$12*, you can get it cheaper with your credit card from Amazon.
If you're a bookstore or library, go here for ordering information.
Here in the Scriptorium Sagittaire, you'll find reviews and
an excerpt from Splitting.
Old stuff from Permeable Press
If you're looking for out-of-print titles from Permeable Press, I do have limited
supplies of many of them. This would include copies of my lit mags, Puck, Q Zine,
Xerotic Ephemera, and maybe some other things I can't think of right now. Email me if you're looking for any of my old zines
for your collection. I also have a bunch of chapbooks and novels:
Some Girls by Sarah Hafner (US$7*).
Stories by the author of the novel The
Elements of Style, which I highly recommend. Some Girls has a hand-printed
cover with an original illustration by Barbara del Rio; this chapbook is the only
available collection of stories by Hafner.
Crack Hotel by Michael Hemmingson (US$8*).
Short novel.
Nice Little Stories Jam-Packed with Sex &
Violence by Michael Hemmingson (US$6*). Stories, published by Jasmine Sailing at
Cyber-Psycho's. Perfect bound.
Minstrels by Michael Hemmingson (US$12*).
Mike's novel about Paris, terrorism, full of raunchy Hemsex.
Scherzi, I Believe by Lance Olsen
(US$15*). Stories.
A Beginner's Guide to Art Deconstruction
by Norman Conquest (US$10*). Hand printed. Post-Derrida humor.
Junky Postcards by Susan Birkeland
(US$8*). A firebrand novella by a modern-day female Tom Paine.
Remote Control by Doug Henderson ((US$6*).
A queer sci fi story, with a 3-color hand-printed cover.
* The asterisk next to the
price means it includes Priority Mail postage within the United States.
If you're ordering from outside the US, please email
me and I'll write you back with the postage cost
and exchange rate. Je parle francaise--more or less.

Special Free Indie
Hype!
I'm saying, spend your money and reading/listening time on independent artists and
publishers.
I design book covers. Please contact me if you have a project you'd
like me to work on with you. Here's one of the one's I've designed for Wordcraft of
Oregon. Dave and Sue at Wordcraft have been bastions of indie publishing in North America
for over 20 years. David Memmott is also a damn fine writer, and Shadow Bones is the cream of
his magical realism. Click the book cover to go to my design services page.
