who i am. what i do. what i like.

i'm aimee buyea. i pretend to be an artist but i seldom make art. i have lots of skills though. meaning i can do lots of things but i usually do them for other people not myself. my energy has recently been spent trying to use art to save the world -or- at least affect a few lives. i use a certain rhetoric and have magical powers. how did i get like this? i grew up mostly in rural wny. i went to school in buffalo and really got into the DIY film/video scene and indie rock n' roll. after graduating i ran away to the mountains of massachusetts for 6.5 months and lost a few marbles. as a result i moved back to buffalo, to start a non-profit alternative artspace called sugar city. sugar city is up and running. as of fall 2009 i've been going through an alienation crisis which results in confusion and the feeling of being alone in the world. i read about it in my horoscope and it made so much sense! being a double water/air sign is so tough sometimes (check this out)i hope to do some rambling soo and meet other people like me. i like vampires, am afraid of the dark, have a favorite blanket and believe in ghosts. my favorite color is grey.
